Open Source Politics
Founded in 2016, Open Source Politics (OSP) is a social economy company based in France and operating on a European scale.
We share the vision of a society of continuous democracy and our mission is to deploy ethical digital tools to support meaningful participatory and collaborative approaches for the benefit of the widest possible audiences, at all scales and in all types of organisations.
We specialise in the design of participatory processes, the use of free and open source platforms for large-scale collaborative deliberation and the development of digital commons serving democracy and data.
Open Source Politics is an official partner of the Decidim project, a benchmark platform that it has deployed with 200 organisations, the majority of them public bodies of all sizes, from the local authority initiating a participatory budget to the European Commission organising the Conference on the Future of Europe.
Over the years, Open Source Politics has built up a network of partners committed to promoting open government and the use of open source software.
