Dembrane (NL) leverages state-of-the-art AI for citizens' assemblies/dialogues.

Assemblies and dialogues are the perfect opportunity for citizens to voice their concerns, suggestions,... on topics and decisions that impact them. Nonetheless, the amount of information being shared at these events is enormous and incredibly nuanced, while manually taking and processing notes leads to generic and biased insights, resulting in dissatisfied participants that wait months for feedback.

With Dembrane, organisers get nuanced (even quote-based) insights within minutes on every topic they are interested in discussed during these conversations. Per discussion group, one participant scans a QR-code and hits "record conversation". Our software writes out each discussion word-by-word in real-time. Organisers have all insights at their fingertips with AI, without anybody needing to download anything.

Dembrane is active in 7 countries, worked together with OpenAI (Democratic Inputs to AI) and is part of the EU-funded AI4Deliberation project (AI for nation-wide citizen assemblies in Italy and Greece), while partnering with academic institutions to push the boundaries of collective intelligence with AI.
