Since December 2019, the Association Civic Tech Europe (ACTE) represents the European civic tech organizations developing digital tools to increase citizen participation in the EU.
On Thursday March 7th, ACTE will organize an expert dialogue in the European Parliament on the challenges posed by Artificial Intelligence to 2024 elections integrity.
With leading experts from the Civic Tech and political science ecosystem, we'll explore actionable measures for enhancing election security, establishing a 'Democratic Shield' in the EU, and leveraging AI to promote democratic participation.
This event was inspired by recent developments in the use of AI deepfakes during elections and fight against disinformation, as highlighted in our latest op-ed.
